Ross Waugh, Grant Holland, and Kierie Zeelie compose the Waugh Infrastructure Management team that attended the 11th Pacific Water and Wastewater Association conference at Noumea, New Caledonia.

The conference, which ran from 6th to 10th of August 2018 and had the theme, “Innovative Solutions for our Islands”, featured an Expo attended by several companies, technical presentations, and the Young Water Professional Program.

Ross presented at the conference on his Master of Engineering thesis, “Asset Management for Developing Countries” as it relates to the present and the future of the Pacific islands in terms of infrastructure management.

In line with Pacific culture and traditions, and the traditions of the Pacific Water and Wastewater Association, Ross also had the privilege of presenting, on behalf of the New Zealand participants, a gift to Nicolas Metzdorf, Minister of Water in New Caledonia, during the Conference opening ceremonies.
