Following the release of the 2013 census population information, Waugh Infrastructure reviews the summary population growth information for each local authority in New Zealand and constructs a summary table from the information provided by Statistics NZ.
We look at which Councils is growing, which Councils has population decline, and which Councils has a relatively static population.
We look at both total numbers and relative percentages between census periods.
Different asset management issues, techniques, and management strategies apply to each of these scenarios, and it is good to know the situation of each of our clients, the issues and the trends they are managing.
As part of this exercise, we review our client base, and also the total population of our clients.
