It has become clear today that several councils we work for have adopted a weekly account payment policy.
We have had several invoices usually due for payment on the 20th of the month paid today.
This action by Councils and their accounts departments is both thoughtful and appreciated.
In periods such as the current COVID-19 Level 4 arrangements, regular cash flow for all businesses becomes necessary to pay employees, suppliers, leases, and taxes.
The weekly account payment policies adopted by these New Zealand Councils boost confidence and keep money flowing in the economy, so well done.
