The South Canterbury Branch of Engineering NZ, through Bruno Lagesse, Treasurer, and Simon Bird, Chair, invited Ross Waugh to share about his company’s asset management consulting work in three countries.
The event was held on 21st July, 12:00 to 1:30 PM at a function room of the Alpine Energy Office in Washdyke, Timaru.
There were 18 engineers from different companies and engineering sectors who attended.
Ross presented his company’s consulting work in Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines, sharing some insights on the three countries and the New Zealand context in terms of infrastructure asset management, engineering, government practices, and developments.
Towards the end of the event, Simon Bird expressed on behalf of their organisation, his appreciation of Ross Waugh’s presentation, and for taking the time to share about the Waugh company’s projects. He also commented it is good to know how a company in Timaru is doing these projects abroad.
