The Waugh Infrastructure Management Limited team attended the the IPWEA New Zealand conference, Te Whakaohooho i ngā Rangatira o Āpōpō | Inspiring Our Next Generation at Rotorua on 21-23 June.
Waugh Infrastructure Management Limited has been one of the proud sponsors of IPWEA NZ / Ingenium events for many years, appreciates the importance of these events, and remains committed to assisting in moving the industry forward and continuing to seek out and highlight best practices.
The Waugh team also looks forward to attending these national and international conferences.
On 22 June, the Āpōpō Conference’s second day, WIML’s consultant, Andy Bartlett, alongside Gemma Mathieson from Infrastructure Decision Support NZ (IDS NZ), presented on “The Wai (and How) of IDS Water Supply and Wastewater Pipe Renewal Forecasts.”
Later in the evening, at the IPWEA New Zealand Asset Management Excellence Awards gala, Ross received his Life Member award.
Ross and other Life Members’ dedication to the institute and the asset management industry is exemplary. He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.
We are thankful to Ross and all the life members acknowledged and Āpōpō for everything they do for our industry and Aotearoa.
I love the picture above. There is so much love and support visible. What a happy, happy team. I’m considering approximately 60 years of service to Waugh Infrastructure Management Limited.
What a fantastic, action-packed three days at the IPWEA New Zealand, now Āpōpō Infrastructure Asset Management Professionals conference.
Coming together at an infrastructure management industry conference like this is an excellent opportunity to be inspired and share best practices.
Also, as many of our team members are spread across the motu, it is the perfect opportunity to come together.
