Ross is the founder of Waugh Infrastructure Management, an Asset Management and Systems Integration specialist with over 30 years of experience in municipal and local government infrastructure asset management and engineering.
He has been consulting in infrastructure management for more than 20 years in transportation, utilities, community facilities, and property.
Ross has contributed to several New Zealand national data capture, advisory, and infrastructure standard-setting projects.
Ross is passionate about assisting people in practising infrastructure asset management holistically and comprehensively, yet practically.
His strategic analysis of client practices is balanced with a strong practical background that always ensures results, not theory. He has experiences of five cycles of integrating infrastructure asset management planning with long-term financial planning within the New Zealand context.
Ross is actively interested in ongoing international infrastructure asset management trends.
Ross has also presented internationally on infrastructure asset management and provided input into international asset management practice reviews.
He is a Professional Teaching Fellow, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Auckland.
