On Tuesday 25th September I graduated my Master of Engineering at Auckland University.
That was a very satisfying week and the completion of several years of hard work.
My parents, son James and daughter-in-law Chelsea were able to attend, which made for a very nice family day celebrating this milestone and success.
The capping ceremony was a grand event, full of tradition and colour – it was very pleasing to attend, observed the pageantry and all the other graduates being capped that day.
My thanks to my family and team who were very supportive during this period; to University of Auckland Faculty of Engineering; and to my supervisor Dr Theuns Henning, who provided support, advice and good direction as I worked through the research.
