Video 7 of 11
The video above is the seventh of 11 videos. It covers Section 8.0 of the conference paper – Future Implications – Transportation
This video was first published on the blog of Inframanage – Resources for Infrastructure Management Site.
This video and Section 8.0 of the paper introduce the concept of ‘Scooter Zones’ and look at the potential impact of these zones on urban transportation networks. The ‘Scooter Zone’ concept created a lot of discussion and feedback at the Conference – so I would encourage readers of this blog to view the video, and see what they think about the subject.
In June 2013, I delivered my paper Infrastructure Management – Forecasting the Changes to 2030 at the Ingenium (now IPWEA NZ) Conference in Dunedin.
Because the presentation time was limited during the conference, I had 20 minutes to deliver my 63-page paper. So, I had limited time to discuss concepts and issues highlighted in the report.
I have produced this infrastructure management video series, one for each chapter of the paper, to conference participants.
For your reference, you are encouraged to download and/or print the conference paper and read along as you watch the video.
