2020 has certainly been a year that has started with a rush and continued to take us around a number of high-speed curves.
Our team at Waugh Infrastructure have had a busy first few months assisting our clients with the preparation of asset management plans, infrastructure strategies, asset management information system work and general infrastructure asset management related support.
As I noted on the Inframanage Blog my year started with NGO work in the Philippines with my daughter, attending the TRB Conference in Washington DC, and then meeting with my colleague and good friend Heather Himmelberger in New Mexico.
During this period I was privileged to give a lecture on infrastructure management at the Central Philippines University, and an Environmental Finance Network sponsored ‘Ask the Experts‘ webinar in New Mexico. All these made for a very busy January.
February and March have also been full, with a range of client assignments.
The arrival of COVID-19 has certainly changed our expectations and responses very quickly, and this will continue for several months to come.
2020 promises to be a challenging and interesting year, particularly for all of us in the infrastructure management industry working together during this time of stress and uncertainty to ensure high-quality services continue to be delivered to our communities.
